window
Window is a self-contained generative collage system featuring hundreds of photos of the sky taken across the world, over the years. From processed image metadata, the software constructs infinitely many unique, synthetic skies following its own algorithmic clock and weather patterns. The result is a constantly-changing collage, with thousands of variations collapsing places and days into one.
Shortlisted for the HIX Award 2015 for graduating artists.
