timeslice

The installation takes a slice from the centre of an input video and outputs these slices from left to right, each slice delayed from the previous, collapsing time and movement into new and fragmented planes. The video is mapped to a series of translucent organza sheets to create a pulsing, three-dimensional light object.

Originally created as a booth installation for Universe of Tang party T A N G L A P S E, 24th November 2017.
