PIR - MIDI controller

Custom Arduino-based controller which uses motion detected by up to 6 passive infrared sensors to trigger MIDI signals. Signals from the sensors run over 20m lengths of 3.5mm audio cable into a central control box. Red LED indicates power, green indicates sensor activity. The system can be used for sound-based interactive installations, triggering sound when a person enters the space- PIR sensors often feature in burglar alarms.

Custom circuitry and 6 PIR sensors in custom cases, 6 x 20m 3.5mm audio cable, Arduino Uno, custom Arduino software.
